Quick….what did you have for breakfast yesterday?
We can’t remember either! (Okay, fine, this time we can. But that’s just because we were at our absolute favourite - Sandy Buns. You cannot touch their homemade pineapple marmalade and cinnamon buns. You just can't!!)
The point is that our memories fade.
Even super important memories - like how great our families are, how in love we are with our spouse, and how our friends are our BFFs - lose a little colour over time.
That sucks!
So let’s change it!
We know that you love your people, that you treasure your experiences with them and that you want to hold onto them forever. And they’re SO awesome that they should be captured just the way that it happened.
That’s what we do. We make sure that really awesome people can hold onto their incredible memories forever.
Here’s who we are!
• Hey! We are Kat and Taylor MacDonald. We’ve been married since 2008 and working together since 2016.
• We chose TKM, not just because of our initials, but because it’s a slangy way to say “I love you” in Spanish, and we really love people in love.
• When we’re not behind the camera, we are probably gaming. Whether it’s video gaming (our faves are anything Mario and most co-op games) or board gaming, we love to play together! We’re always up for any card game, or board game like “Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza” or Ticket to Ride.
• We LOVE (aka borderline obsessed with) all things Star Wars! Tay has 8 lightsabers, and Kat has read most of the novels!
• Tay recently got super into cooking (and Kat has always been super into eating) and we both love trying new restaurants. If you’re looking for recommendations while you’re in Roatan, we’ve got ‘em!
• Roatan, Honduras is our home and favourite place on earth! We love everything about this little island, especially the people, and know you’re going to love it too.

Our story
We’ve always been creative and fell in love with photography as more of a hobby (if you haven’t checked out Tay’s astro photography - you definitely need to!)
But what really stole our hearts was taking pictures of people in love. In love on their wedding days. In love with their families. Even in love with the brands they are building.
So, in 2016, we made the dive into turning this into a business. And if there’s one thing that our friends and family say about us is that we do not do anything small.
We dove into making sure that we had the technical side of taking pictures down to a fine art. We’ve worked with some of the top mentors in the business, like Erika and Lanny Mann and Dave Moss.
Our biggest goal is to never say “good enough” - whether that’s how we help you before your big day, how we make sure your photos are literally picture perfect or who we work with to give you incredible prints to hang on your walls with pride.
